Alessandra began her formal training at Ballet Forte in Chester, NJ, and later at New Jersey Dance Theater Ensemble. She then studied ballet at the University of North Carolina School of The Arts through high school, after which she pursued a BFA in ballet at the University of Utah, graduating in 2019. While there, she worked with choreographers such as Penny Saunders, Pablo Piantino, Lesley Telford, Matheew Neenan, and Gabrielle Lamb. After graduating, she moved to Chicago to train at Hubbard Street Professional Training Program under the direction of Alexandra Wells before continuing her training at the COMMON Conservatory with Terence Marling. She then danced at Zeitgeist Dance Theater with directors Francisco Gella and Yusha Sorzano, and later at Zikr Dance Theater under the direction of David Taylor. While at Visceral Alessandra has performed works from Danielle Agami, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Mark Godden, Abdiel Figueroa Reyes, Tess Renaud, and multiple works by Nick Pupillo. Alessandra is excited for another great season at Visceral!
