Visceral Dance Chicago grows alongside and within the organization of Visceral Dance Center founded by Nick Pupillo in 2007. For over 15  years, The Center has been a destination in the city Chicago for dance and home to thousands of dancers and artists from around the world. 

 

As one of the top training facilities in the country, Visceral Dance Center is known for its positive environment, exceptional faculty and a brand new spacious state-of-the art facility located in the Avondale neighborhood along the Chicago River. This new space serves the growing needs of the entire Chicago arts community, which uses the building for rehearsals, workshops, and auditions and also includes an in-house theater space, Ann Barzel Theater, available for performances and special events. 

 

Visceral offers daily classes both in-person and virtually with a broad range of classes for both children and adults. The Center allows dance to be easily accessible to all individuals, from the beginner to professional level dancers. 

 

Dancers from all over come to experience a wide range of workshops and master classes offered by acclaimed guest teachers and choreographers.
